summer rehab

After I've had an amazingly long summer between my last year of high school and soon my first year of Uni, I've decided to look back and share some things, products and places I've loved this summer in a form of a "summer rehab", aka summer favourites.

Birkenstock
I've been meaning to buy a pair of Birkenstocks for years now and I finally did it this summer. I got an all black model, because almost everything in my closet is either black or white. They were amazing, both comfortable and good looking, plus easy to match. Besides, you can just put them on and go on with your day, whether you're going to the shop. beach or a coffee date.

Sunglasses
Summer is, well, sunny. And to protect your lovely eyes you need a pair of sunnies. But why not 3? I mean, they have to match every outfit, right? I have a black cat eye frame from ZeroUV, and two pink ones. One is a pastel pink with blue screens from Urban Outfitters and the other is hot pink with orange-green screens from Reserved. Definitely an accent piece for every outfit.

Hair oil
As I've been bleaching my hair and dying it for a year now it's become quite damaged, thus I need to take good care of it, and the best thing to do so is using hair oils. I've tried a few and my absolute favourite is the Argain oil & Shea butter one by OGX. You apply it to wet hair and as it absorbs the oil, it becomes so soft and it smells amazing, plus it also softens your waves for a less frizzy look.

Komiža
A small town on the beautiful island of Vis in the middle of the Adriatic Sea has become one of my fondest vacation spots. Beautiful clear blue sea, lots of sun, cold drinks and friends is all I could've asked for this summer.

Sunsets and stargazing
If you know me, you know there are two things I'm absolutely obsessed with - stars and sunsets. And Komiža offered both. After you experience a breathtaking sunset, the slight look up at the sky will offer you one of the prettiest things on Earth - a view of the Milky Way and a sky splattered with stars, milimmeters from each other. And the best thing is, everyday you'll swear today's sunset is even prettier than yesterday's.
